Plan Funding

Benefits are provided under a group insurance contract with the Lincoln National Life Insurance Company. Lincoln is responsible for investing the premiums and paying benefit claims. Lincoln guarantees the payment of claims incurred before the group insurance contract terminates.
The premiums are set every year by Lincoln. Premium contributions for basic life insurance and basic AD&D coverage come from IQVIA, which pays the full cost. Employees pay the cost of contributions for optional life insurance and voluntary AD&D coverage.
